Here Be Dragons! What An Incredible Journey! (Poll and Update)

Hey everyone, I'm so proud to say we've finished the funding with just over 100K in backing!
First, I am in actual astonishment from all the incredible support and love the project has gotten. I'm SO READY to add in the FIFTEEN+ STRETCH GOALS worth of new content, and post updates the whole way so you all can provide feedback and input into the project.
I'm planning to post a major update every two weeks, these will mostly be sharing content as it's created and getting feedback on the project as it comes together. If that seems like too many updates, please lmk in the comments.
I apologize for the slow responses during the final days of the campaign, I'm currently visiting a close family friend in Asia and it's been much harder than I expected to keep updating the project while traveling. I'm sketching as often as I can to stay on top of the hydras, leviathans, and other new content and will be posting all these soon!
Since we blew right past the final stretch goals without a proper update here's your chance to pick some bonus STRETCH GOALS
To clarify, you're getting three new species for sure! But, if you all ALSO choose new species as the #2 stretch goal, you'll get a total of SIX new species. Hope that makes sense, if it's confusing just pick what looks coolest to you and it'll all work out.
I'll post a full outline of the final book with a revised page count and list of all the species as soon as I'm back in the United States. So expect it with the next major update in >2 weeks.
Thanks for accompanying me on this incredible journey in search of dragons. We have all the resources we could possibly need to make this project truly incredible, I want to give it everything I can, and I can't wait to share it with you!

New Stretch Goals - Four New Custom Tiers - Final Week is Coming

Hello everyone, it's been an incredible couple of days. Not only are we nearly at 1000 backers, but we have blown past all the previous stretch goals! Have a congratulation griffin gif
So here are the next goals-
Next immediate goal is going to be an improvement to the book quality itself. Deckled edges on all printed copies of the book, along with some nicer end-sheets and general quality upgrades to make the work seem even more like an ancient and storied anatomical tome.
I know you never get tired of dragons, but with so many diverse species on the evolutionary tree the goals after that will focus on expanding into close dragon relatives. If we hit these stretch goals a short chapter will be added for each of these creatures and their relationships (ecological and biological) with true dragons.
The fifteenth Goal will describe dragons so ancient and extraordinary in their size and biological makeup that they strain our definitions of life itself. The study, biology, and exploration of enormous dragons the size of small islands, some vast subterranean dragons whose unique biochemistry draws from the geothermal energy of the planet's core, and others of such enormous age that they play host to unique organisms and ecosystems all their own!
And of course, as always, each of these updated sections will have corresponding 5e-compatible stat-blocks, loot tables, and encounter design included for FREE.
Please remember that each new stretch goal reached that adds content will push the final release back a little more. Backers voted that they wanted more content more than you want the book released in the original time frame, and I'll need the time to draw, design, and dissect dozens of new creatures. Once the project is closer to completion, I'll give a more accurate assessment of the delays.
New Tiers!
There are also new “design a dragon tiers!” Due to popular demand, we are adding 4 new ones! So get yours while you still can. If I keep adding content this book won’t be done until this time next year, haha. So I don’t think there will be any after this.
Don't miss your chance to put your own species in the book and have yourself (or someone you love) named as its discoverer.

Whooaaa, we're halfway there! - Recommendations, Animated Gifs, and New Tiers

Hey everyone! The project is ≈halfway done! We just passed the goal for Domesticated Dragons, so be ready to see domesticated pets and specialized pests living among human civilizations! We're speeding through stretch goals so fast that we're definitely going to need another batch (so let me know your ideas for new Dragonatomy chapters in the comments)
I wanted to take this time to give people a quick update on what's happening as well as show off another project I think you'll like.

The creator is a really cool artist, they're making a DnD class for Arcanists, and their campaign is ending in >60 hours! Check it out here.
Animated Dragons!
A the request of a few backers I'll also be making looping animated gifs/vids of the Dragonatomy Dragons available for FREE. Perfect for use in your RPG games
The final images will be come in a variety of sizes and formats to fit your needs, be DRM-free, and delivered as the project concludes, with more added as new dragons and extra content is added to the book.
New Tiers
Finally, I wanted to let everyone know that two new Design Your Own Dragon tiers are going to open up, letting you put your own original dragon species into the book and naming yourself (or a friend/family member) as its discoverer.
If you missed the first four slots, now is your chance!
I've been writing and drawing as much as I can, and will be sharing some new sketches in the coming updates. Right now we're passing stretch goals more quickly than I can draw new creatures and concepts, so I'm a little behind.
